AS1-X Mech

The Arrowset AS1-X Mech model is a single string Mechanical Production Packer. It’s a retrievable, double grip compression or tension-set production packer that holds pressure from above or below. After workers set the tubing string, they can safely leave it in tension, compression, or neutral position depending on the necessary applications or task.

These features allow the “AS1-X” to be run in a variety of applications ranging from Production Packer to Bridge Plug to Service Packer.

AS1-X available in either High Pressure (up to 10K (69 MPa) or Standard up to 7K (48MPa) pressure ratings

A large internal bypass reduces the swabbing effect during run-in and retrieval and closes when the packer is set. When operators release the packer, it opens the bypass, which helps equalize the pressure before pulling the upper slips from the casing. The Model “AS1-X” also features an upper slip releasing system that reduces the force required to release the packer. It releases a non-directional slip first, making it easier to release the other slips.

The AS1-X Mech has multiple features that make it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications. Whether professionals need to use it as a production packer, bridge plug, or service packer, the unique design apsect helps it adapt to multiple situations.
