R-3S Single Grip

The R-3S single grip compression set of retrievable packers is an ideal tool and common in wells with excessive and unexpected bottom-hole pressure. On most applications, operations primarily use them as a conventional long stroke production packer. The R-3S single grip mechanical production packer isolates the annulus from the production conduit.

Because of their simple design and straightforward running and retrieving procedures, the R-3 models are a popular and well-utilized piece around the world.

  • Sets securely in any hardness casing, including premium grades
  • Three piece packing element system
  • Large by-pass area
  • Surface controlled combination bypass and equalizing valve
  • Rocker type Slips
  • Parts are interchangeable with other manufacturers
  • Field-proven design, recommended to 300°F applications, High temperature ratings available upon request
