SXA (UP)

The SXA (UP) Sliding Sleeve is a downhole flow control device mounted in the production tubing. It effectively controls the flow between the tubing and the casing annulus by means of an internal sleeve that can be opened or closed repeatedly. Silver Fox’s SXA sleeve offers unparalleled durability and resistance, features a top sub, bottom sub, outer housing and inner sliding sleeve. When shifting the inner sleeve to the OPEN position by wireline, the slots on inner sleeve align with ported holes in the outer housing, providing a communication flow path. Our SXA sleeve is also easy to install and maintain, saving pipeline operators time and money. Its flexible design allows for easy fitting onto pipes of different sizes and shapes, while its lightweight material reduces the need for heavy equipment during installation.

Model “SXA” inner sleeve functions as UP to OPEN and DOWN to CLOSE.

Applications for the SXA (UP) Sliding Sleeve:

  • Circulating inhibitors or methanol
  • Allow multiple zones to produce up one tubing string
  • Selective Testing or Stimulation of individual zones
  • Circulating to kill the well
  • Gas lifting the well
  • Landing a blanking plug in the profile to shut in the well, test the tubing, or test the sleeve itself
