The SWR wireline set is a critical component in the Silver Fox collection of downhole tools. Designed for secondary cementing operations, this wireline set cement retainer can work with any hardness casing without premature setting. Therefore, it’s versatile in downhole environments. The SWR wireline set incorporates a one-piece packing element and metal backup rings to provide a superior seal, thus enhancing the efficacy of cementing operations. These drillable cement retainers feature one-piece slips that are case hardened and virtually eliminate premature setting. They’re also easy to drill out. This balance of robustness and ease of use underscores the thoughtful engineering behind our tools. The SWR wireline set will provide reliable performance in your projects.

Silver Fox “SWR” Wireline Set Cement Retainers are used for secondary cementing operations. These drillable retainers set securely in any hardness casing. A ratchet lock ring stores the setting force in the retainer. The one piece packing element and metal back up rings combine for a superior seal. The case hardened, one piece slips virtually eliminate premature setting, yet can be easily drilled out.

  • Retainer includes the use of brass shear screws on cones to allow disassembly
  • Sleeve has increased Bonded rubber and O-Ring sizes to maintain consistent Flow and Seal
  • Sleeve has inside taper matched to mandrel that does not allow collet fingers to see force when removing stinger

  • Up to 10,000psi rating
  • Sets securely in any hardness casing, including premium grades
  • Ratchet lock rings secure dynamic setting force
  • Pressure balanced sleeve valve is opened and closed by tubing manipulation from the surface for better control
